Global Asia Insurance Partnership Chief Executive Officer Conor Donaldson to step down

Conor Donaldson has decided to step down as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Global-Asia Insurance Partnership (GAIP) with effect from September 2023 due to family reasons.

GAIP's CEO, Conor Donaldson said: “It has been an honour and a professional privilege to lead GAIP. Over the past two years, GAIP has gone from a concept to a high performing organisation. We have engaged partners, a clear strategy, a defined workplan and a great team in place. While it has been a difficult decision to step down, I am confident that GAIP's next CEO will be well positioned to take the organisation to the next level.”

Yoshihiro Kawai, GAIP's Chairperson, added: “Conor played an instrumental role in the development of GAIP during its initial years of incorporation, and established critical building blocks for GAIP's continued success. We are grateful for Conor's dedicated leadership and thank him for his dedication and commitment to GAIP. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.”

GAIP will immediately begin the process to identify a new CEO.
