The Global Asia Insurance Partnership (GAIP) announces that Min Hung Cheng has been promoted to Deputy CEO.
Min has served as Senior Director with GAIP since 2022. She has over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. An actuary by training, she had spent the last 13 years of her career in non-actuarial fields of mergers and acquisitions, risk management, corporate strategy and business development, product development and most recently, customer experience design.
Min graduated from the University of Melbourne. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia.
“I feel immensely privileged to help take GAIP forward,” Min said. “My focus is to collaborate with the insurance industry, regulators and policymakers, and academia to support the insurance sector in addressing protection gaps in Asia, working towards our GAIP vision of building long-term risk resilience in Asia.”
