Bernhard Kotanko is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, based in Hong Kong and Singapore, and leads the Firm's Asia-Pacific Insurance Practice. Over the past >20 years Bernhard has been advising insurance clients globally across the full spectrum of strategy, organisation, operations, capital and risk management. He is co-author of various articles on the broader insurance agenda, product innovation, customer experience and distribution as well as a regular speaker at insurance industry and company conferences.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Bernhard was a Partner at Oliver Wyman where he led the EMEA Insurance Practice and then the Asia-Pacific Region. He graduated from Harvard Business School and the Vienna School of Business Administration.
