Group Director (Retirement Income), Central Provident Fund Board
Mr Gregory Chia is the Group Director in charge of Retirement Income services and products at the Central Provident Fund Board (CPFB) in Singapore. Prior to his current appointment, he served as CPFB's Chief Data Officer (CDO) as well as the Group Director in charge of Policy, Statistics & Research. Over the past decade, he has shaped Singapore's policies to strengthen Singapore's retirement, housing and healthcare financing system. As CDO, he also spearheaded CPFB's efforts to enhance its data science capabilities, culture and platforms to harness data and deploy AI to improve decision making, operational processes and service delivery.
Mr Chia has more than 20 years of senior public sector experience in various roles. Prior to joining CPFB, Mr Chia served in the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Manpower and the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore.
