Manager, Corporate Planning Department, Tokio Marine Holdings
Mina Kajiyama is Manager of the Corporate Planning Department of Tokio Marine Holdings and Deputy General Manager of the Government & External Relations Department of Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance. She interacts with various international initiatives related to natural disaster risks, climate change and sustainability at Tokio Marine.
On disaster risks, she has been assisting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC)'s Finance Ministers' Process (FMP) through the Asia-Pacific Financial Forum (APFF)'s Disaster Risk Financing and Insurance (DRFI) Network.
Prior to her current role, from 2019 to 2022, she was Director for Promotion of Regional Financial Cooperation, International Bureau of the Ministry of Finance Japan, where she led the discussion on the role the Southeast Asia Disaster Risk Insurance Facility (SEADRIF) which is expected to provide ASEAN economies with advisory and financial services to increase preparedness, resilience and cooperation in response to climate and disaster risks.
From 2010 to 2019 she was Portfolio Manager at Tokio Marine Asset Management and Tokio Marine Asset Management International at Singapore.
She joined Tokio Marine & Fire Insurance in 1999, after graduating from Keio University in Tokyo.
